Pete & the OGC guys have zero control over what dickhead Trump does for U.S policy unfortunately. It shouldn't surprise anyone in our circles at this point...the man and his family are fucking merchants who would sell their mothers daughters to the highest bidders. Trump does not and will never possess higher values that are needed for the nation. It's all "business" and transactional.
I never said they had control of Trump. I am saying that they pushed Trump on their listeners when it was glaringly obvious to me that Trump (and the Tech Bros) were NOT what Pete and folks thought (think) they are (Pete still seems to think it, although, I admit I find it hard to listen any more).
His work is excellent… until it get to the Trump fiasco and the embrace of the Tech Bros. I think he knows better but (like every other election I can remember) he fell for the lesser of two evils. I think that he fell for the Problem-Reaction-Solution that is the Trump Admin.
The entire time Pete and the OGC folks were pushing this dude on us, I was aghast. How can such smart people be so wrong?
