Venezuela will be more costly than we can imagine.

As an old soldier I know how vastly different South America is from what our generals think it is.

Now that we've gotten most of the fags out of the Army, we have a better fighting force, for sure.

But nowhere near the numbers of soldiers needed.

It will be a hell of a mess.

Could Japan once again choose a Pearl Harbor–style strike—this time against a far stronger China—rather than submit to crippling economic warfare?

Why would any father allow their son to fight a war for America on foreign soil? If we're done with imperialism and colonization, no American citizen should ever bear arms on foreign soil.

I don't see conscription returning and, if there is a foreign skirmish, I think we'll use a much larger percentage of mercenaries or foreign proxies. America's youth, today, is heavily foreign born or non-white and won't offer their lives to fight American battles for a de facto empire.

Just look at Ukraine and Israel today... We send money and munitions, but their is zero political will to send troops... And, like the Japanese and Pearl Harbor, NATO baited the Russians into action.
